Support Services

SMA Careline offers a number of free services to parents and healthcare professionals. These include:

  • Free educational booklets and dvds covering many aspects of baby care
  • Regular Study Days with a programme covering a number of different topics and featuring speakers who are leaders in their field
  • Annual Symposia to identify and debate the latest feeding issues
  • An award to support healthcare professional research offered in conjunction with the British Dietetic Association

Heritage

We launched SMA Careline in 1997. You can contact the SMA Careline Monday- Friday from 8am to 6pm. Alternatively you can write to us with your queries.

We receive over 180 calls every day and each month we receive over 450 questions via the website, as well as requests for educational materials. So far we have taken 250,000 calls from parents and healthcare professionals!

Our advisers answer your questions over the phone and via a selection of fact-packed booklets, leaflets and dvds - all free of charge.
